Twing Raid supports Les Restos du Cœur and local schools. Les Restos du Cœur is a major player in the fight against poverty in France.
To help them, Le Twin Raid is organising a food collection (pasta, rice, tinned vegetables, ready meals and hygiene products) at the start on 25 February 2025 in Ficoba.
The Raid also supports local schools. The aim is to give needy children the chance to go to school in the best possible conditions. We will be visiting several isolated primary schools in Morocco to distribute a complete school supplies kit to each child.
Restos du Coeur
Coluche launched the first Restos du Cœur campaign in 1985, distributing 8.5 million meals. 40 years later, the needs of the underprivileged are still there, with 9.2 million people living below the poverty line, i.e. more than 14.6% of the population. Every year, the start of the Twing Raid is a moment of conviviality and solidarity, helping to supplement the sources of supply and offer a more diversified, balanced diet to the people cared for by the local Restos associations. On the day of the start, a team of Restos du Cœur volunteers will be on hand to collect the 10 kg of foodstuffs and hygiene products brought by each crew. In total, no less than 1,250 kg will be collected for this project.

Écoles du Maroc
The aim is to distribute supply kits to several primary schools in Morocco. This aid will provide access to education for more than 250 pupils. You will be stopping off in very poor regions where access is difficult. These areas are in some ways ‘isolated’ from other towns in Morocco and are not touched by the civilisation we know in Europe. These regions have a huge lack of resources (transport, hygiene, education, healthcare, etc.), which is why the Twin Raid decided to intervene in these places to help them with their education. Thanks to the generosity and commitment of all the participants, the organisation will be able to provide them with complete school supply kits.
